This week I got to playing with stop motion, using real ropes, inconsistent lighting, and permanent marker on a whiteboard (doh!) to show how to tie one rope to another, why, and under what circumstances you want to use them.

The Square Knot, Sheet Bend, and Thief Knot.

It’s all boiled down into just over one minute of video and some fine classical guitar playing as a backdrop.  Come take a look!
