There’s a key element in this shot of a nearby brackish marsh that’s been missing for a while – the ospreys of the mid-Atlantic have been wintering in the Caribbean and South America, but this week and next, if all goes to plan, they’ll be returning to last year’s nest sites and getting things in order to raise a new generation.  Keep an eye and ear out, the ospreys will be back soon!
