Raptor’s Eye is a shelter, of sorts, for wounded birds of prey that have been rehabilitated but for one reason or another can’t be released into the wild. Those birds become educational ambassadors, giving people an opportunity to learn about them. This Barred Owl is therefore on a gloved hand in a parking lot, instead of silently swooping in a forest, but I still wouldn’t want to be this bird’s target.
