The “Summer Triangle” rising above the lake, with the Milky Way just emerging from the haze on the horizon. Just right of center, the apex is Altair, in Aquila, the Eagle. Above and to the left, Deneb is the tail of cross-shaped Cygnus, the Swan, and above, Vega and the parallelogram of Lyra, the Lyre. It’s not often a summer night is this clear!
