Chuck Will’s Widow

Tonight I’m trying something a little different.  No picture.  Instead, this is the sound of our May evenings at home – a background drone of spring peepers and tree frogs, the high-pitched rhythm of field crickets in the foreground, and a Chuck Will’s Widow – a bird, in the nightjar family, related to whippoorwills and nighthawks – somewhere off in the forest.  Enjoy!
