Anole

DSC_1379

Green Anoles are common lizards in the southeast US, and are frequently kept as pets.  They’re not true chameleons, but they do have the ability to shift their color between green and brown in response to environment and stress.  Males have a bright red dewlap on their throats that they can inflate to signal each other.
