The first full Moon of 2018 was a Supermoon, and also the Wolf Moon. Here, the visible ragged crater edges on the western (top) flank indicate this is no longer full – it’s technically a waning gibbous. But it’s in the single digits out there, I wouldn’t be surprised if the wolves are still about!
Was it not a full moon at 12:01am on the first? And if so will we not have a Blue Moon this month?

Not sure on specific time but yes we did have a full moon info the 1st, (a super moon, to boot). So we will have a blue moon in January – that second will also be a super moon, AND we will have an eclipse… So it will be a Super Blue Cold Blood moon!
